Quilt time

It is still sunny and dry but   there is a cold wind in the shade .! Too early to put the heating on ,perhaps ,but  a quilt  on the bed will help during the night .
Quilts are wonderful things - when I was little I had a very old Welsh one which possibly belonged to my great grandmother but it eventually fell to bits . A visit to the American Museum near Bath which has a large collection of quilts ( see link Classic Quilts from America ,)- , has never been forgotten .
This quilt was made by Madhatter for my 60 th birthday .
