Meadow Brown

Edit- I thought this was a gatekeeper butterfly but thanks to gen2 we now have an I.D. of a meadow brown.

One of the many good things about blipfoto is that it has encouraged me to go out and find things to blip. Then I come home and try to idenify the bug, or plant or whatever.

This butterfly was fluttering around at Wicken Fen. We had a lovely walk out there earlier.

Mr H and I are looking forward to the Olympics closing ceremony later, particulary good as I have a day off tomorrow.
