Lone tree

Went for a trundle with dogs this morning through a local conifer plantation, full of wanabe Christmas trees, though they are way too small at the moment. These tall trunks have been left by the foresters last time the plantation was harvested. They serve as beacons for walkers, standing around 50 ft tall like totems almost.
