Bad Feather Day
This little chappy decided to stare me down on a stone wall adjacent to where I had parked to do some work. He allowed me to get out of the driver's seat, go around to the boot to get a camera and return, firing of 20 or more shots of him, in a series of poses. It was only on review that I noticed this frame where the wind had gotten under his head feathers.
I reckon he's a juvenile just establishing his full plumage, but still handsome for all of that. I was dead chuffed that I got such a clean shot at 1/60th of a second. The wonders of in-camera, linked to in-lens stabilisation.
