Kropotkinskaya

Metro Station.  Built in 1935 as one of the first stations in the Moscow Metro.  The city authorities have recently bulldozed the shops and kiosks adjoining most metro stations; in the case, restoring the surroundings to the classic 1935 appearance.  However, reaction to the "Night of the Long Shovels" has been mostly one of dismay.
