The Clyde

Alasdair Gray's mural at Kirkfieldbank in the Riverside Inn. First completed in 1969 it was later painted and papered over. Rediscovered in 2009 Alasdair Gray went back to restore it. It depicts the Falls of Clyde and the countryside including Lanark that it passes through. Having had lunch there today it is safe to say the mural was the highlight.
