The WWOOFers

This year we joined WWOOF as a host farm and have had a flood of enquiries from keen young people from all over the world. The idea is that they work on the farm in exchange for food and accommodation. This gives them the chance to get some experience on an organic farm, visit the north of England and improve their English, and it gives us a load of helpful hands to get some jobs done. So far it has worked very well.

From the left we have Gonzalo (Spain), Samuel (France), Guillaume (France), Fani (French Canada), Lauren and me.
