Dr. Hook

I went to a concert last night. I know, I'm a little trend setter! I had a great time, and I sang my little socks off :-). It was a total sell-out and they were a great audience. Dennis Locorriere, lead singer, (see extra) was as energetic and entertaining as usual and the interaction with the audience was brilliant and humorous.
I have loved this group since the 70's. Especially Dennis Locorriere.
The original Dr Hook and the Medicine Show split up after a while. Ray Sawyer, with the eye patch, (yes you know who I'm talking about now) and Dennis Locorriere were the singers. Ray went his own way and Dennis continued with the group for a while, eventually going solo and forging a fantastic single career.
But now there is a full band behind Dennis Locorriere again, with all brand new members and the addition of a female backing singer.
These new musicians were all fantastic and reproduced the sound of the original Dr Hook perfectly. Long may they continue.
