Concrete sheep in Bicester.

And behind the concrete sheep is Costa Coffee, where we have just had lunch. We had tried to get our lunch in a small independent cafe in the alleyway behind Costa, but they told us we couldn't have the advertised "scrambled egg on toast" because it was 12:30 and they don't serve scrambled egg after 12:00. Where is the sense in that? They were still cooking other things, just not scrambled egg. I asked if they would really prefer to turn away our business rather than contravene their own rule of not serving scrambled egg at lunchtime and she said "If I did it for you I would have to do it for everybody"!

Some people do not deserve to stay in business. We went to Costa and had egg and bacon rolls instead.
