Toll road

Another lovely sunrise but on this occasion little time to appreciate it as we were packing up and tidying the apartment before heading up the road to Murcia Airport, an hour and a half away.

It was a lovely morning with what we at first thought was early morning mist dissipating. But as we got closer it seemed that this was a day/week/ month for fumigating the vast greenhouses before the next crop and the smoke/ fumes were just lingering in the still air.

For convenience we took the toll road. Normally just over £10 but with the current exchange rate .........

It makes driving so easy and we drove for kilometres without seeing much traffic as the blip shows.

A straightforward flight back to Newcastle then a drive to Edinburgh made for a lot of travelling. A good break and good to be home, despite the broken dishwasher, toilet seat etc.
