Eh well

Some days you just don't get the opportunity to take a good photo. This is one of them. Ma has been on a mission all day to move things around so now that's she's in bed I will clear Steptoe's Yard (aka the living room).

Very much looking forward to watching the closing ceremony (and very much hoping that Paul McCartney will not be part of it). I'm sad that it's all over, it has been an absolutely wonderful couple of weeks of optimism and pride. To come third on the medals table behind the two largest nations on earth is something to truly celebrate.

I hope that this wave of pride and enthusiasm will spill over to the paralympic games and garner them the attention and recognition they deserve.
