Soaking

The view from my mineral water, fire heated, hot tub.  I started the day with a 90 minute soak in the tubs at Omarama.  These tubs are wonderful - each one is totally private and all have wonderful views of the wee lake and the hills and big sky of Mackenzie country.  

Then I caught up with a friend for a chat - thought we'd chat for an hour but three hours later we'd set the world to rights, he'd shown me his new school and we'd talked lots of teaching stuff.  

Now I'm settled back in at the camp enjoying the bird life (sadly no natives - just sparrows, chaffinches, blackbirds, starlings and thrushes) and the view of the lake.  Real life seems a million miles away :-)
