We're going on a bug hunt

Today we left mum at home to rest and took Granny off to Polesdon Lacey National Trust property in Surrey.
After a play in the play park we had lunch in the cafe and then went on a bug hunt with the park rangers.
Armed with nets and collecting pots we went to see what we could find and then try to identify them.
Jonathan found the biggest snail of the day which he later raced in the post hunt snail race.
Sophie loved catching butterflies, she caught Gate-keepers and Cabbage Whites.
