Last day of the Olympics

A fantastic final day saw me going into central London to see the mens' marathon from beneath the dome of St. Paul's, one of many iconic locations on the route. Here is the main group passing on the first of the three laps.

Later I went on the hunt for Mandevilles and Wenlocks spread across the capital, finishing off at Tower Bridge.

Now I am eagerly anticipating the closing ceremony and a rousing rendition of some great British music.

It has been the most amazing two weeks and a tribute not just to Team GB competing but to the whole country for putting on an Olympics to remember. Even the weather held up pretty well !
