Old Man of Derwent Water

We walked all the way around Derwent Water today. Up along the top of the cliffs on the East side and along the lake shore on the West. Family could not be tempted to nip up Cat Bells on the way back (I don't think I could have made it either). A good 12 miles I reckon bringing our total for the holiday to about 40 miles - plus all the wondering around the shops and National Trust properties.
