Track Day - York
Harriet finally got round to redeeming one of her birthday vouchers for a five-car supercar experience at Elvington Airfield, near York.
We set off before dawn on the 60-mile journey arriving at the airfield just after 8 am. After registration and safety briefings she was let loose in an Aston Martin, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Nissan GT-R and Ariel Atom.
Her favourite car was the GT-R which was the fastest (0-62 mph in under 3 seconds) and handled the best of all due to its 4-wheel drive.
In second place was the Arial Atom (pictured) which is slightly slower than the GT-R (0-62 in 3.2 seconds and 150 mph flat-out) but gives the full racing experience of light, open cockpit cars.
The Aston Martin is not even on her shopping list when she gets round to trading-in her Peugeot 107. We can all dream
After Harriet had completed her own drives we both had high speed laps in the Atom In the hands of a professional behind the wheel (see extra). He drove the Atom to the absolute limit overtaking the Ferraris, Lamborghinis and Porches - making them look as though they were stood still.

A big thank you for all the stars and hearts yesterday.
