Pike man

Mark Anderson is a Zimbabwean-born fishing guide who lives by the Thames and likes to catch pike on the fly. Zimbo, as he calls himself, is a larger than life figure. The last time I saw him he came in to an awards evening with Ross Brawn, the motorsport engineer, who likes saltwater fly fishing. Here Mark is showing off some of his colourful pike flies. I got to know him when I was writing fishing columns for the Financial Times. I wrote about him here in this piece I did for the FT.
