British and proud........

I was going to stay up and watch the Closing ceremony, however I have set good old Sky to record, as I dont think I will manage to stay awake.

So I thought long and hard about todays blip, and thought it would be nice to go out on a high.

We started these games 17 days ago with a Silver from Lizzie Armistead in the Womens Cycle Race.

We finish these games on a high with another Silver from a lady this time Sam Murray.

In the meantime we managed to sneak in our last Gold in the Heavy Weight boxing Anthony Joshua who came from behind with grit and determination.

We as a nation should be proud of ourselves - finishing 3rd in the medal table.

Our Athletes did us proud...........
