Flowers for Friday

I have no idea what this tree is called, but I love it, it's leaves droop down like bunches of bananas, it's flowers pop out the top like branches, lined with little flowers, it's just the most unusual and lovely thing, and was looking sensational against the blue skies this morning.........so it just had to be a flower Friday blip :-)

The day started cloudy so we decided on a walk........and sure enough the sun came out, so we sat in the shade for a drink.....it clouded over, so we set off again, the sun came out, so we sat for a coffee, clouded over, set off, sun came out.....and on and on it went!!!

It was very hot by mid afternoon......we sat looking out to sea, then decided it was time to head on back to the apartment to cool off!

We did venture out again for the evening, had the most fab fillet steak with green peppercorn sauce ;-)
