stickers
Haven't been blipping much, several reasons for the dip in activity...
life has chucked a couple of sideballs... nothing really bad, but enough to make you stop and regroup a bit...
I've been spending loads of time with my gorgeous family and friends and I've taken pictures that I feel aren't anonymous enough to post... too much of little un and my also friends children are on display so I don't feel I can post them...
We've been on holiday! with our friends Dan, Ella and their wee one, for lots of fun in centre parcs... Adventure playgrounds, food, good chat, swimming pools, meeting owls, toasting marshmallows, drinking wine and watching the kids make friends.
Little un has been having a particularly feisty and grumpy patch, but I think she's been having a growing spurt as well, and these things often seem to correlate.
Also... busy, busy, busy... I've just restarted my OU psychology degree... I'm now in the second year of the degree course and the workload has gone whoosh! compared to my last modules... Any computer time has been devoted to studying...
I'm testing the water in applying for a little freelance job... don't know if I'll get it yet, but fingers crossed...
I've also been working with little un on her separation anxiety... She's hopefully going to be joining nursery after the half term holidays, so I've been practicing and pushing her at playgroup... this week we had out first breakthrough... getting her to stay at playgroup by herself for the first time ever since we started attending in February. I was sat in a back room with knocking knees every time she cried and with the play assistants popping out to update me on how she was doing and how she seemed to be feeling... but she came out the other side playful and happy... fingers crossed we can replicate this on other occasions...
So all in all once the evenings and weekend comes round we have found ourselves, a bit zonked, not capable of communicating and often too covered in stickers to function properly.
