The life of a busker...
... is not without surprises, as this one in the centre of York found.
He was singing and playing at the end of the afternoon; suddenly he was surrounding by a bevy of excited 'ladies' who decided to join in with the song, grabbing his mic and taking group selfies. Several minutes of mayhem ensued.
As luck would have it, I was only a few metres away with camera at the ready. Having spent most of the day wandering the city, it was noticeable how many quiet large groups of women and men converge on the place, often for stag or hen parties. By early evening it is not a particularly pleasant spectacle, especially when York races starts disgorging its drunken masses.
