Rachel's 10th birthday party

Each year we celebrate Rachel's birthday with a bit of a bash... This year Rachel organised it herself.

Rachel decided that she wanted a swimming party, then a selection of friends and family to come back for something to eat and a sleepover with her closest friends. It all started with a list... I have no idea where she got that idea from :-).

The swimming was excellent and they had the whole pool to themselves for an hour.

I stayed with traditional games. Blind mans buff, water relay, musical cushions etc. the weather was brilliant.

The girls went to bed about 10.30pm, however sleep was a different story! At 2.30am I had had enough and raised my voice!!! Sleep eventually happened and we woke them up about 9.30am with the smell of bacon and sausages.

A good day had by all, but more importantly, Rachel had another good birthday to her memory bank.
