Mountain Church

Mountains have always had a spiritual significance for people worldwide. They are places where you can feel up-lifted and closer to God, or whatever greater power than yourself you might experience. Switzerland is no exception and almost every summit (this is on the Dent de Valerette on the side of the Dents du Midi) has a cross on it. So today was a short Sunday walk to my "church". Large brings you even closer.
