Day 1: Vancouver - Birch Bay

Although I am absolutely convinced that Canada is a beautiful country, our first riding day did not confirm that image, mostly crossing the suburbs of Vancouver, including their industrial areas. Our first stop, Birch Bay State Park, just across the border in Washington, made up for that perfectly, with a campsite on the waterfront, a (stony) beach and a perfect sunset to finish the image.
