Porty

It's not glamorous, or the Atlantic, but it's ours and at it's best it's hard to beat, and also it's the only sea conveniently located between our house and the B and Q so that if a child falls asleep in the car on a sugar soap expedition you can enjoy a half hour of peace. 

Also:  Swimming (second last one with the babies - the activities are now being refused in favour of 'watching the babies doing it'.)
Fancy little boot shopping, playground, that kind of thing. 
Dinner guests (It has been a while, but the enormous tidy-up was worth it.)
