Foregrounds and Backgrounds

The Boss likes this stuff but this one almost got him into trouble as we were on an elevated (that’s higher) spot looking down into Oriental Bay and he was sprawled on the grass (slightly wet) and “re-arranging” some  unruly foliage in the very foreground when he felt funny (asyoudo) and turning found an entire family standing in the window of the house behind the grass bit, watching.
So, referring to the Tiny Tussock manual of Photographic Behaviour “Digital edition” and recently revised, he smiled and waved and one of the kids waved back, proving that young folk probably don’t really care if their foliage is being re-arranged.
The background is the Carter Fountain in Oriental Bay.

The extra tonight is a bit of a Wellington Icon too. "Bernie’s  On The Bay" is a great Cafe which The Boss and Bossess have supped at many times BUT this is the first time that the owner has been in residence…Errr…so to bark…..on the footpath out front.

In spite of a very attractive offer from The Boss he refused to look at him as he had probably been photographed before (about a million times) and St Bernards can be a bit removed at times when they haven’t had to dig anyone out of the snow for years AND their Brandy Barrel is empty.

Pawscript  WIIF!!…Thanks for your enthusiasm over the clouds yesterday…Nobody gets enthusiastic  about clouds in Wellington so we were completely chuffed.
