There could be trouble ahead...

Left Glasgow this morning, 10c and sunny until we reached the foothills around Beattock at 9am.  The inversion drifted into the valleys and the temperature fell to 2c.  It didn't last long, just long enough for some drivers jam their brakes on to a 45mph crawl, illuminate their cars like Christmas trees and leave them lit for the next 20 miles!  And for some reason I can't fathom out some of them decelerated and drifted into the middle lane.
