Bemrose Suite

Don't really remember what I did yesterday (Saturday)... but it ended with a very busy night shift... including helping some very drunk Lithuanian wedding party attendees get a taxi home (not to Lithuania), serving guests G&T and Port at 4am, laying breakfast for 44 guests... Hoping no-one will complain that I didn't restock or mop the bar... there's only limited hours in a night (stayed extra 30 mins as it was) - just like teaching there's sometimes the sense that you are given extra jobs (like cleaning/ tidying The Bemrose Suite, my favourite room in the hotel) but without the understanding that this means you can't do everything else you would normally do. Difference is - when I'm home, I'm home - what doesn’t get done on the shift, doesn't get done...
