Autumn Steam Gala

The Keighley and Worth Valley Railway is always good for a blip, but especially when they have a 'special' weekend. Great to see so many people out and about, mainly train spotters and photographers, but I am always feel comfortable with eccentrics around me!   

we walked from Oxenhope to Haworth and back with Reggie, and then treated our selves to coffee and cake on the platform buffet car at Oxenhope. As we got to the platform a group of people were lighting candles for a birthday cake, which was then duly give to Steph who was on the footplate of 7822 Foxcote Manor - one of the trains here for the weekend. Think she was surprised by the look on her face.
