Old and Derelict

The Ryde paddle steamer, 1937-1969, avoiding the scrapyard she was bought by two IOW entrepreneurs and began a new career as a nightclub in Septenber 1970, in 1977 she caught fire but was repaired, popularity dwindling the nightclub was closed in the late 80's, she now lays derelict in a Ryde, IOW shipyard awaiting her fate.
My extra shows how she would have looked and is very similar and is an iconic paddle steamer called the Waverley, which I snapped a few weeks ago rounding the Isle of Wight taking tourists on a sightseeing trip.
Such a shame for the Ryde to become so unloved and just left to rot away.
