Judy Murray tennis legacy- "ego trip"

A total stranger stopped to chat this morning after seeing me take this photo of Park of Keir .
He said:
“ I am totally against that development.”
“Delighted to hear that,” I murmur.
“It’s an ego trip,” he added.
 
That’s how Judy Murray’s dream of a legacy for her son Andy (what about her other son Jamie?) is viewed locally.

As an ex journalist I am constantly shocked at the ease with which the media is so easily manipulated these days by celebrities and big business. Even a paper like the Sunday Times, once considered impartial, no longer has the resources to check the veracity of stories fed them by them by PR companies hired by celebrities.
