An early morning start for all of us as the youngest had a match at 10am but thankfully it was at home so we only had to leave the house at 9am. Another great match, with them winning 3-2.
Home for lunch and then the girls and I met up with friends to go on a trip on the Wavelerly Paddle Steamer. It took us from the end of Southend Pier, along the Thames Estuary and dropping us off at Tower Hill for a coach journey home. The girls were home and asleep within minutes. It was a long tiring day for them but hopefully they enjoyed it!
