ANZAX?
Yesterday was our Community Orchard Fair, for which my better half made come biscuits (and other stuff). I rather liked them but I fancied making my own, so today I dug out my grandmothers "ANZAX" recipe and converted it from nebulous cups to meaningful grams.
These biscuits have some how acquired a new spelling at some point, as the recipe is clearly identical to the classic ANZAC biscuit from Australia and New Zealand, and someone clearly misheard the name and a "C" became an "X".
Anyhow I modified the recipe to use rape oil rather than butter, but they came out how I remember them and the dunk in tea how I remember them, and even my better half said they were okay...!
