Proud to be British!

Just a snapshot of the celebrations from this evening.

I have been amazed at how much of the olympics I have followed and not just because there has been little choice in the house with Bananablip and Happyframe.

But because we have done so well, the organisation has gone so smoothly and the cover has been excellent. It's been nice to see everyone so up-beat for a change and I'm sure it's done us all so much good.

And hats off to all the wonderful athletes who have sacrificed so much to attain such great heights of expertise. Never thought I'd have watched so much sport in a lifetime never mind in two weeks!

Still. Back to normal soon when the football season starts all over again. Sublime to ridiculous comes to mind.

And BTW.Have you noticed how many lorry drivers took part in the closing ceremony?
