Wind

The ‘crop’ of acorns from the trees around our house varies from year to year, and this year there’s been a bumper crop.  Then, this morning we had high winds and the acorns were falling like a hail, to the point it wasn’t safe to go out unprotected.  Never saw anything like it!

By early afternoon, after the acorn storm had abated (all that could fall had fallen by that time), I went out and tried to catch the dancing of the trees with a slow shutter.  Not too successfully I’m afraid, but this gives a little bit of an idea of the movement.
