Gwyr

A last-minute and unplanned visit to The Gower.

Hanging out with the cousins, kids and some dogs.

Amazingly lucky to get some actual summer weather and a swim in the sea. Topped off with a campfire and some of the most spectacular lightning I've seen. My girls huddled, along with the boys, under a tarpaulin, alternately giggling and then screaming at the great purple flashes and tearing roars of the thunder.

And all in bed in time to listen the the almost biblical downpour (well it sounded that way under whatever it is that tents are made of) that came chasing the skirts of the flashbangs.

It's almost impossible to photograph lighting, I reckon. I didn't try. So here is a photograph of some giant liquorice allsorts instead.
