Cousins

Today was a very busy one. We started out the day with some quick potty training reinforcement before pre school. It wasn't quick. With 2 accidents before leaving time I got Lincoln to sit on the potty one last time before we went so his pull ups would be dry when we got there. It took about half an hour. We were just shy of an hour late for pre school and we were 20 minutes late for Elliott's first official settling visit. Then it turned out they don't have a potty at pre school anymore, just a huge (yet actually child size) terrifying toilet. Lincoln didn't get up the nerve to sit on it until 2pm. For his efforts in braving it he got a new Thomas toy, Madge.

While Lincoln was at pre school Elliott and I caught up with my sister and her boys. Elliott's oldest cousin was allowed to freely pick him up and play with him for the first time. They had a great time together.

When we all got home we had a really successful evening for Lincoln. He wore undies all night and there wasn't a single accident. He even went on the big toilet once (with the help of a ping pong ball with a silly face to wee on).

An exhausting day but we achieved a lot.
