I stayed at 'The Bay Village Tropical Retreat' last year when junior came back to the West and dinner on site was at this amazing little gem a handful of steps from my room.
With gongs and awards a-plenty the Balinese chefs come from the Bumbu Bali Restaurant and Cooking School in Bali and yes another memory lane for the birthday girl.

M and I had a holiday in Bali some 14 or so years ago and we had dinner at Bumbu Bali...and as I recall there was clumsy dancing among very graceful Balinese dancers....eeek
