Lindsay & Gilmour on Doors Open Day

The headquarters of Lindsay & Gilmour pharmacists and Raimes Clark & Co. Ltd (wholesale chemists), both companies dating back to the early 1800s was open to the public. A lovely Georgian townhouse,but the real attraction was the collection of archives and artifacts from both companies. Above are some of the massive prescribing record books, detailing individual customers and their individual accounts for pills & potions.
