Shaggy Ink Cap or Lawyer's Wig

Peter and I were very excited when we came upon a cluster of these edible mushrooms whilst out walking Chester near the river Brock this afternoon.

Apparently these are best used fresh and make a wonderful soup.

We may well return tomorrow to pick several more!
