Good Friends

We have been at sister-in-law Mary's today helping to put her new bungalow to rights.  She received the keys on Friday but we were away in Northumberland all weekend so arrived today, expecting to strip wallpaper, to discover that her friends David and Jane had been in all weekend and had already taken off all the wallpaper and begun other major tasks.  Brother-in-law Mick died several years ago, but some of his friends turned up out of the blue and did some painting - isn't that wonderful?!  It was like DIY SOS!

We'll be back there for the next few days to get the decorating done before the carpets and white goods arrive.  Meanwhile my blip is of David up a ladder sorting out the coving.
