A day off

Today is Canadian thanksgiving but we don't celebrate it. Usually, it's "getting the house and grounds ready for winter" day.

So Oli and I are just enjoying the day. We had a brunch with Je for his birthday, and we're off to grandma's for dinner.

There's a tree in the back alley. Every year, it becomes glorious in its fiery redness.
