Walking to Grantchester

After a lazy morning, Liam and I walked to Grantchester together. It takes a bit under an hour and it a wonderful walk following the River Cam. It is surprising how quickly you can escape the city and get into the countryside. It was also very welcome - Cambridge is such a busy city and it was lovely to be able to walk through fields and not have crowds of people around you. 


We then went to formal hall together, where they served Sunday dinner! I have to go to two formals a week (the college makes you pay for them before you arrive) and I think that Sundays will be a definite future pick. We had a big debate about brexit with some of my college friends before wandering around the streets and heading back home. Liam’s train is in the morning so he gets to spend tonight here too!
