this little (8mm) Siphanta hebes eats sap from plants and can jump when frightened - but seemed happy enough to sit where he landed on a glass shelf in my lounge, for ages while I rummaged around for the old extension tubes and bright lights, then got up close and personal.   But I imagine he was even happier when I put him outside on a rose bush before my cat found him..
