Boundary House
On September 27th, I posted a photo of the outside of this restaurant combined with the historical marker showing why the Boundary House was significant. This is the inside of the restaurant on Monday evening. We went there with our son, his wife, and our grandson. The food as always was excellent. The use of wood there is very impressive as is some of the metal art work. There are two large rescue style rowboats hanging from the beams on the far side of the restaurant. We were sitting on the smaller side with the bar between us and the larger dining area. The link below is to a TV station in Durham, NC. The flooding in eastern NC is totally devastating with records being set daily for the cresting of rivers following the hurricane. Most of these photos are 2+ hours north of us and 1 1/2 hrs. - 2 1/2 hours from the coast.
