The Specials

We had a great time at the Olympic closing ceremony celebration concert (bit of a mouthful though, isn't it?!). Blur were absolutely fantastic, and I'm so glad a finally got to see them live, after being a fan for so many years. The Specials were wonderful too, full of energy and really connecting with the crowd.

I do feel sorry for Mark, having to put up with me at times like this.
Me: Let's get really near the front.
Mark: Really?
Me: Yeeees, I want to be able to see the band with my own eyes.
* 20 mins of being pushed, shoved, jostled and trodden on later *
Me: Oh no... it's too squishy down here, can we go back please?
Mark: Mmm hmm!
