Castle Hill Country Park

Hard to believe this is in fact within the Leicester City Council area and not a County property. It's a relatively speaking, a wilderness by city standards with woodlands, brooks and grasslands all nestling along the city's periphery. The dual carriageway scything in two and the pylons running through only add to the place for me!

This late afternoon stroll was after visiting Hinckley again, of course!
