Thank you for your service and sacrifice....

   I had taken this photo of a memorial dedicated to the fallen officers in Blue.  Whenever I see something like this, I always feel sad for the families who have lost a love one, and grateful that we live in a country that has laws to support our way of life.  Then I feel saddened by the state of lawlessness in our country today.
    I had the honor today, of shaking the hand of 2 officers in a Jersey Mike's sub restaurant and thanking them for their service, for getting up everyday and going out to duty, knowing they could be shot,  and not see their families again.  That was evident by the bullet proof vest they were wearing.
