More Sun!

The weather is about to change in a big way in another day so I thought I'd blip that sun on the Oregon coast again. Classic Haystack Rock at Cannon Beach, but the iPhone saw the sun this way so with a bit of snapseed, it will remind me how (annoyingly) bright it was. Bits of lava that roared down the Columbia R into the Pacific Ocean eons ago, this is one of the largest basalt stacks in the world. A charming town. Way too many people here... Unlike the almost deserted beach at Newport where we had a lovely walk this morning. There was a very rare shark attack just yesterday at Cannon Beach, just north of this view.
Now in Astoria for 2 nights with lots on the agenda for tomorrow. In vacation mode for sure :-)
