Bridging the Gap
I am in Salem, the capital of Oregon, for a 2-day collaboration training as one of the facilitators. We will be working with regional teams of educators, businesses, and workforce development professionals to teach them collaborate processes for developing & sustaining education-industry sector initiatives.
Near the hotel is the Riverfront Park. While walking in the park I came upon this construction project. This pedestrian bridge, named after the President of the Oregon Senate, will connect the Riverfront Park to Minto-Brown Island Park, the largest park in Salem (1,205 acres/488 ha): http://www.cityofsalem.net/mintobridge
